This fairing is a good looking aerodynamic cover to finish off the inside tip (or root) of the elevator.  This fairing is estimated to reduce turbulence and the resulting drag to result in the effect of a 1 to 2 knot increase of speed.  The fairings can be installed with a quick pre-fit, sand and paint, then install.  Install by replacing 2 to 6 rivets with nutplates and screws which will allow for easy removal for future inspections.  Other options would be to use a few pop rivets or do the proper prep and use a suitable adhesive, making it quick and easy to install.  Just drill a few larger holes to relieve the fiberglass where the original rivets reside, don't drill larger holes where you plan on putting the screws or pop rivets.

Proven to reduce drag by reducing airflow and turbulence around the elevator. Effective results equal to a 1 to 3 knot increase of speed.  Assembly will be similar to the Inner Caps. May require a little more during pre-fit to accommodate for differences and weights. Caution will need to be taken to ensure that the install of these parts are solid with no interferences, to avoid any potential lock-up of the elevator in flight due to parts coming loose.
